Today's Marriage

I swear, I am very saddened how the marriage institution is going down the drain these days.We young people are no longer responsible or disciplined enough to stick it out in any given relationship and I fear that in the next five years, marriage as we know it, may become old fashion. Sometime ago i posted a comment on my facebook page on "Loving the one you hook well well" I was talking to one of my friends who at 38 still can't keeps telling me he is waiting for his Love and having about three different girls in his hands ! After a while he said "why must marriage be forever or for better for worse, and couldn’t it be for maybe a few years as mutually agreed." ?

I believe in Family and Marriage. I believe that every human being is created to have a desire to be married and some have a desire to be single. But most of us want to be married. So, you CANT have a healthy marriage with unhealthy habits. Whether or not a young couple stay together often depends on why they got married in the first place. Take it from me, It is not lack of love, but lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages. Being married to the same person for almost 5 years has thought me that marriage is no moimoi, neither is it beans and rice. Both parties must work at it daily and must give all of himself /herself everyday, forever. For me, am committed to ensuring my family stands, because the devil we know is better than the Angel to come.

Marriage like I keep saying is how we maturely deal with our incompatibility rather than our compatibility.

Nothing is constant ! when the tools are down the mechanical engineers are called to fix it....Most times they fix wrongly because of there biased minds to the tools... Wedding is nothing marriage is the WORK TO BE DONE ! 

FOCUS

Don't ever let people take you off your game. You can often identify 2nd Placers by their 3 Cs. They Criticize Condemn & Complain. Channel your efforts in a positive direction towards your dreams. When someone gets you to prove them wrong, it's negative motivation and they are now in control of your emotions. Proving to yourself that you are Right is Positive Motivation and you have now maintained control. R Kelly once said "Elephants Don't swat at Flies"
I NEVER GIVE CONTROL OF ME TO ANYONE!!! I'm too Valuable and so are you!!

INSPIRATION FRIDAY

What happens when you pour enough hot water on top of the head of someone? The same as pouring negative down to those you lead, the group dies... It amazes me how so many people kill their own organizations themselves. Negative information that has no purpose not only breads distrust for the subject of the conversation but it breads more for the messenger. The next time you have a less than uplifting message for someone you are leading, remember this photo and understand that you are about to destroy what you have built... Remember negative goes upline only, positive to your success team and cross line.

Abubakar Bukola Saraki looses case against CCT

Happy to report that due to eternal vigilance, principled and resilient pressure Abubakar Bukola Saraki has lost the case before Billionaire Justice Abu-Kafarati today, the federal has just delivered his judgement claiming the lawsuit filed by Saraki asking to disqualify Justice Danladi Umar of the Code of Conduct Tribunal amounts to abuse of court process and that most of the reliefs sought have been decided in other courts before now.
Kafarati knew these all along but was hoping to play smart on our people.
Thanks for staying the course. The CCT trial will resume next week Monday -April 18 2016. We'll be keeping an eye on the technicians in charge of electricity in the building as well as Judge Umar.

PDP chairmanship: Sheriff hits town with campaign vehicles

 The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Modu Sheriff, has intensified efforts to retain his office as the party prepares for its national convention which holds on May 21 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Our correspondent gathered that Sheriff, apart from having a series of meetings with different interest groups within the party, he might  have also bought vehicles to ease the movement of his campaign team for the exalted position. One of the vehicles, a Honda SUV, was seen at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday.

The vehicle was fully branded in the party’s colours of green, white and red, with Sheriff’s picture on it.

Workers at the party’s secretariat trooped out to take a glimpse at the vehicle, just as they (workers) discussed the matter in different groups.

While some were of the opinion that he should not take part as a candidate at the convention, a few others said he could contest if the zoning committee zoned the office to the North-East where he hails from.

Sheriff was a former governor of Borno State and a member of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party.

He joined the members of the party and those of other political parties to form the All Progressives Congress.

He left the APC when he was lured to the PDP by former President Goodluck Jonathan when the latter was running for second term.

Before he was lured into the PDP, Sheriff was said to be having problems with the national leadership of the APC as he was allegedly not being carried along on decisions taken in the party.

A PDP governor, who spoke on condition of anonymity with our correspondent on Sunday, accused the former governor of always working for the ruling party even when he was in the opposition.

For example, he said Sheriff worked for former President Olusegun Obasanjo and did the same thing for the late Umaru Yar’Adua and Jonathan who were all in the PDP against the presidential candidates of his then party (the ANPP).

The governor then said nothing had changed to show that Sheriff would not do the same if voted as the next chairman of the party.

MESSAGE
There is one great barrier that stands between man and God; this barrier is sin. For thousands of years, man has struggled to get rid of this barrier, but all to no avail. However, God Almighty, in His infinite mercy decided to help man remove this barrier. Right from the Old Testament days, God has been offering individuals this olive leaf of reconciliation, but unfortunately many people have not responded to this gesture of love.

This God that man blatantly sinned against in the Garden of Eden is the same God that is now inviting man back to His fellowship. He said:

I am appealing to a user of this devotional who has been struggling with the barrier of sin to stop struggling. You cannot help yourself; only Jesus Christ, can help you. All you need to do is to surrender your life to Him in genuine repentance and believe that He came to die for human race (1st John 3:8; Romans 5:8, 11). Beloved, let God help you solve your problem of sin today accept sin to be sin; don’t rationalise it but admit, confess and forsake it. It shall be well with you in Jesus’ name.
